Adding VitaLink Professional Coir Chips to fine coir and composts reduces water-holding-capacity (WHC) and increases air-filled-porosity (AFP). AFP is the amount of oxygen within a specific space. This reduction in WHC and increase in AFP boosts drainage and allows for better irrigation control, when used in a hydroponic system.
